MÅLARBORSTE and VINTERJASMIN
A winter collection capturing the coolness of the outdoors in contrast to the warmth felt indoors. An exploration of natural flowing forms inspired by Scandinavian woodlands and geo structures and textures from modern minimalistic architecture. A playful contrast between bold MÅLARBORSTE (brushstroke) and subtle VINTERJASMIN (winter jasmin) allows for placement, use and enjoyment in different spaces of the home.
‘We are very proud to launch our first designed collection for Ikea. As a designer I share the same principles of good design, for everyone, sustainably with quality and affordability.
Working with Ikea has allowed the opportunity to produce a range of products utilising a scale of production that we cannot reach in our own studio. In turn this provides and opportunity to make these items more democratic and affordable for a wider range of people’ – Laura Slater
